Children’s Traditional Amalia Costume
Children’s traditional Amalia costume inspired by the historic women’s attire of Greece. An impressive choice for school celebrations, Greek national holidays, theatrical performances, traditional dances and cultural events.
Includes: satin skirt, velvet bolero jacket and hat.
The Children’s Traditional Amalia Costume is inspired by one of the most iconic women’s outfits in modern Greek history. The attire associated with Queen Amalia was established as court dress, combining elements from different Greek traditional costumes, and later developed into a distinctive form of Greek national women’s dress.
For this reason, it is an especially fitting choice for school celebrations, parades and events with a historical or traditional theme. The child is not simply wearing an impressive traditional costume, but an outfit with a recognized place in Greek dress tradition.
Our children’s version combines a long sleeveless crepe satin dress with white lace around the neckline and a velvet bolero decorated with gold trim and lace on the sleeves. The hat completes the look, creating an elegant and distinguished ensemble.
Ideal for March 25th, October 28th, school parades and celebrations, theatrical performances, historical reenactments, traditional dances and cultural events.
Includes: dress, velvet bolero and hat.
